“I look like a better, younger version of myself, but it still looks like me. That’s what I love!”

Does that sound like something you’d like to say about yourself? Those are the words of 37-year old Tara, who used Restylane injectable gel to eliminate the deep creases that made her look older than she felt.

Or, how about 56-year old Vicki who remarked, “I feel young inside, so I definitely didn’t want to look old on the outside…Now [people] say, ‘Oh you look too young to be a grandma.'”

Are you ready to put your wrinkles to rest with Restylane?

Restylane is an FDA-approved anti-aging facial injectable used by both men and women to erase age-related wrinkles and lines that appear around the nose and mouth.

It is also used to add volume, or to “plump”, the area around the upper lip, which restores a more youthful appearance.

The beauty of Restylane is that you will still look like YOU after the short outpatient procedure, and even close friends and family won’t be able to tell what has been done.

However, they will notice that you look younger, happier and rejuvenated.

Make an appointment for a free consultation with a reputable, board certified facial plastic surgeon to determine whether or not Restylane is the is the right treatment for your age-related wrinkles, lines and creases. Choosing the right doctor is imperative to ensure you obtain the natural looking results you deserve.

How Does Restylane Work?

Hyaluronic acid is produced by our bodies to form connective tissues. Part of its job is to provide structure and elasticity in our skin. As we age, our natural hyaluronic acid stores are diminished and, when combined with lost fat stores, diminishing collagen, and gravity, the results are sagging skin, hollowed cheeks, chin, and temples, and the creases and lines that make us appear old.

Restylane restores lost volume and fullness in the lower face, eliminating wrinkles so your face appears younger, smoother and evenly contoured.

The injectable gel will provide satisfying and long-lasting results for up to as many as 18-months. You can refresh your look with a short office visit when needed. Restylane facial injectables are designed to correct the following:

  • Laugh lines.

Also called nasolabial folds, these are the deep lines that begin to appear in our late 20s or 30s, curving down from the sides of your nose to the outer edges of your mouth.

  • Marionette lines.

These lines run vertically from the outer edges of your mouth and down your chin, similar to the lines made on marionette puppets to control their mouths.

  • Smile lines.

When you smile, your skin is moved up and over to the sides, creating wrinkles that ripple out across your cheeks. As you age, and skin elasticity is diminished, these wrinkles remain visible even when you aren’t smiling.

  • Lip plumping.

As your skin loses volume, your lips can become thinner and more wrinkled. Once plumped, they appear firm, younger and more sensual.

Depending on your needs, your Restylane injections will require anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes. Although you can return to the office or back to your regularly scheduled activities, most patients opt to use the remainder of their day celebrating their new look. Take it from our friend Vicki who said, “I could have gone back to work, but I chose to go shopping.”

Who is a Good Candidate For Restylane and Other Facial Injectables?

Since facial injectables are minimally invasive, and do not require surgery, they are available to almost everyone. Exceptions include those who have had serious drug allergies requiring hospitalization or who know they’re allergic to gram-positive bacteria.

It is also important that you are free of any existing skin conditions, such as rashes, pimples, hives, skin sores or cysts. It is advised that you wait until these conditions have healed to reduce the risk of potential complications and ensure your injection sites heal as swiftly as possible.

Ask your surgeon the following questions during your consultation:

  • Which Restylane products do you recommend for my particular needs?
  • How long will my procedure last?
  • Are there any risks involved?
  • What pre- and post-treatment advice do you have for me?
  • Is there any down time required after my treatment?
